Dual sim handsets
Nokia users may have to wait a bit more for its dual sim handsets to hit the market as the mobile communication giant is still in a wait and watch mode to venture into this segment. "We are still assessing the dual sim market as many fundamental changes are happening in the telecom sector. With tariffs dipping and number portability to be implemented soon we are contemplating manufacturing dual sim handsets," Chandan Dang, regional general manager, north Nokia India told FE.
Pension benefits
The Uttar Pradesh government has fixed minimum age for people availing benefit of pension for freedom fighters. "Any person applying for the pension should had been of at least 15 years of age at the time of participating in the freedom struggle," principal secretary home said. He said that the applicant would be required to present evidence for age verification. "Till now there was no criteria of age limit under this pension scheme," the principal secretary said.
NCR road repair

Nikon dealer network
Nikon plans to widen its distributor base by adding 400 more dealers to its network. The company which at present has 800 dealers across India plans to take the number to 1,200 by March 2010.
