Wheat dara up on flour mills buying




New Delhi, Dec 26 (PTI) Wheat prices rose by Rs 10 per quintal on the wholesale grains market in the national capital today on rise in buying activity by flour millers.Marketmen said increased offtake by flour mills due to pick up in demand mainly pushed up wholesale wheat dara prices.

Wheat dara (for mills) by improved by Rs 10 to Rs 1,410-1,415 per quintal.Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded higher by Rs 15 to Rs 1,420-1,435 per 90 kg.

Maize also eased by Rs 30 to 1,040-1,050 per quintal on reduced offtake by consuming industries.Following are today''s quotations per quintal: Wheat MP (deshi) 1,980-2,230, wheat dara (for mills) 1,410-1415, chakki atta (delivery) 1,420-1,435, atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 170, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 190, Roller flour mill 780-800 (50 kg), Maida 860-870 (50 kilos) and Sooji 860-880 (50 kg).
