Saria prices fall on reduced offtake




New Delhi, Dec 26 (PTI) Saria prices declined by Rs 500 per tonne at the wholesale steel and iron market in the national capital today on slackened demand.Traders said fall in demand at prevailing prices and fresh supplies from manufacturers pulled down saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 500 each to Rs 34,600, Rs 34,400 and Rs 34,400 while 16-25-mm by the similar margin at Rs 34,400 per tone.Following are today''s quotations in Rs per tonne: CTD saria (Kamdhenu) 8-mm, 34,600, 10-mm, 34,400, 12-mm 34,400, 16-25 mm 34,400.

Rathi tor steel : 8-mm 32,800, 10-mm 32,400, 12-mm 32,600, 16-20 mm 32,500 and 25-32 mm 32,200.Saria Jai Bharat (ISO 9002) 8-mm 32,500, 10 mm 32,300 12-mm 32,200, 16-25 mm 32,200.
